Post subject:  Sous Vide as a glue pot

Hey, why not? Get a sous vide and a glue pot! Two $199 units just hit the market. A few years ago the only sous vide available was over $1000. Sous vide is a cooking method where you vacuum seal food and cook it in a water bath at precise temperatures below simmering before finishing with a sear. Super tender stuff. ChefSteps.com has a great article/video series on it.

My bro in-law first mentioned it to me a few years ago. He's a foodie and into all the foodie things. It flew back on my radar a few weeks ago when I asked the server at our favorite place how they prepared their steaks, and sure enough...

BTW, totally posting this tongue in cheek. I was researching sous vide when it dawned on me that you could use this for heating hide glue.
